Make a Difference!

At 100 Kids Who Care Kawartha Lakes, we inspire kids to connect with their community and make a real impact. Together, we empower children to become advocates for causes they care about, learn the value of giving back, and discover how their time, talents, and treasure can create meaningful change—right here in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

Here’s How it Works:

We Recruit

At least 100 school-age kids (Kindergarten to Grade 8) in Kawartha Lakes.

We Meet

Twice a year, for just one hour each (Fall and Spring).

We Give

Each child brings $10 to donate to the winning charity.

We Vote

At the meeting, everyone votes for the charity they want to support.

Before each meeting, the kids nominate their favourite local charities on our website. At the meeting, everyone votes for the charity they want to support. The winning charity takes home $10 from each child in attendance! At the next meeting, that charity shares how the kids’ donation made a difference.
